AIS data
For the analysis of the navigation behaviour of inland navigation (WP 8000), historical AIS data in the demonstration areas Upper, Middle and Lower Rhine as well as in the West German canal grid, which are provided by the GDWS, are evaluated and linked with flow- and waterway data from WP 4200. Methods will be developed to validate and anonymise the AIS data. Processed and anonymised AIS data will be made available to the project partners.
