Integration of remotely operated vessels into the regulations
Based on WP 2400 and the findings of the project, the proposals for adjustments to the relevant regulations are made at this point.
This ensures that the necessary steps are taken with the required safety aspects in mind and that the waterways are not impaired. Especially for the crew as well as for the technical equipment necessary for the operation of the (partly) automated vessels, adaptations and conditions are in the foreground.
These pave the way for the investigation of the safety of the systems, the risk assessment up to market maturity.
